Acoro Terms of Service
Welcome to Acoro, a cross-platform content-saving and AI assistance service for iOS, Android and the Web. It helps you receive links, screenshots, images, files or text, save supported sources, and organize, retrieve, discuss and verify information using current materials or your personal library.
Please read these Terms before registering, signing in or using the service, particularly the provisions on liability, data processing, account deletion, governing law and disputes. If you do not agree, do not register or use the service. Selecting Agree, registering or using the service signifies acceptance of these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law; it does not replace separate privacy consent where required.
We may update these Terms to reflect legal, regulatory or product changes and publish updates through the app, website or other reasonable means. Material changes will be highlighted by a prompt, email or another prominent notice where required.
1. Service definitions and scope
1.1 “Acoro” includes our mobile apps, website, system sharing entry points, public sharing pages and related services lawfully introduced in the future.
1.2 “Current materials” means links, screenshots, images, files or text provided for a particular question. Removing an item from the composer affects that request and does not delete a saved source.
1.3 “Saved sources” or “personal library” means content and source information that you expressly save and that we store, parse, segment and index for retrieval. Asking a question does not automatically save its materials.
1.4 “Responses” means content generated from current materials, your library, necessary web information and AI inference and displayed in a conversation.
1.5 “Sources and evidence” means summaries, excerpts, references, screenshots, timestamps or other information supporting verification. User-facing sources do not provide access to internal execution logs, model costs or debugging information.
1.6 Features may be changed, added, limited or discontinued, with advance notice where required by law. Availability varies by platform, operating system, region and account status.
2. Accounts
2.1 You must have the legal capacity required to use the service. Minors must read and use it with a guardian’s consent and guidance. Children under 14 should generally not independently register or use Acoro.
2.2 The mainland China edition supports mainland Chinese phone numbers and email-code sign-in, with Apple and Google sign-in on supported mobile platforms. You must be entitled to use the number, email or identity and keep information accurate; linking and changes require verification.
2.3 Protect your account, verification codes, devices and access credentials. Actions through your account may be treated as your actions. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or compromised credentials.
2.4 Do not impersonate others, register maliciously or in bulk, sell or lend accounts, or use automation to bypass sign-in, security checks, rate limits or other restrictions.
2.5 Request account deletion in Settings — Account and security — Delete Account. Linked Apple or Google identities may require reauthentication. Once accepted, we revoke Acoro sessions and public sharing and handle account data and external authorizations under the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Deletion is irreversible; save anything you wish to keep beforehand.
3. Features and use
3.1 You may provide links, screenshots, images, files or text through paste, attachments, camera, photos, file selection or system sharing. Materials for a question are separate from long-term sources, which require an explicit supported saving action. System sharing receives content only when you initiate it in another app.
3.2 Saving is an explicit action. Once confirmed, we may obtain accessible source content and perform extraction, OCR, subtitle processing, summaries, segmentation, vector indexing, candidate recognition and evidence linking. Login walls, access controls, copyright restrictions, deletion or network conditions may limit or prevent processing.
3.3 You can ask questions using current materials or your library. Current materials normally take priority over the library, which normally takes priority over web supplements. We seek to distinguish source facts, web information and AI inference but do not guarantee that every relevant item is retrieved.
3.4 You can review history, copy responses and submit feedback on completed responses. Feedback helps assess and improve quality; it does not mean that the response has been checked by a human. Verify important information yourself.
3.5 Sharing creates or reuses a public link to a saved conversation snapshot, including displayed questions, responses and source-processing results. Later questions are not added automatically. Links have no automatic expiry; renaming a conversation or deleting shared messages or the conversation invalidates the link. Others may forward, copy, capture, index or redistribute content. Review it before sharing and avoid exposing identity documents, contact details, precise locations, health information or trade secrets.
3.6 The client may retain sessions, preferences, cached resources, offline commands and realtime cursors. Offline commands retry in their original order after connectivity returns; canceled commands are not resubmitted. Sign-out, deletion, app-data clearing or system policies may remove cached data.
3.7 Acoro may detect clipboard links in supported signed-in foreground situations, subject to system permissions and notices. Detection prompts for confirmation and does not silently save a source. You can choose whether to save it.
3.8 The home screen may suggest topics based on saved materials, recent conversations, interests and interactions. You may instead type a question. Mobile devices may receive result notifications when authorized and enabled; notifications can show source titles. Manage them in Settings — Notifications or system settings.
3.9 Map services: rendering, place search and geocoding use the provider configured for this edition. Coordinates, names, opening status and route information may be inaccurate or outdated; verify before travel. A manual marker is not provider confirmation. Do not remove attribution or copyright notices.
4. Content and conduct
4.1 Follow applicable laws, public order, third-party platform rules and these Terms. Do not create, upload, store, process or share unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, sexually exploitative, violent, terrorist, hateful, discriminatory, gambling-related or drug-related prohibited content, or content that invades privacy or compromises cybersecurity.
4.2 Do not perform unauthorized scraping, copying, surveillance, access-control bypass or bulk downloading; disrupt Acoro, providers, source websites or other users; or evade security, usage or rate limits.
4.3 Before supplying third-party content, ensure you have the necessary rights, permission or other lawful basis. Saving, parsing, summarizing or citing content does not transfer its rights to us or remove your obligations under source-platform terms, copyright rules and applicable exceptions.
4.4 Do not input or publicly share information you have no right to process, trade secrets, confidential material or unauthorized sensitive data. If acting for an organization, obtain necessary authorization and meet applicable data-protection duties.
4.5 Where required by law, authority notices, rights-holder complaints, security risks or reasonable evidence, we may warn, restrict imports, remove or block content, revoke sharing, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts as necessary.
5. AI-generated content and limitations
5.1 AI responses are probabilistic and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, inappropriate, repetitive or include invented references. Sources and evidence help verification but do not guarantee accuracy, completeness or timeliness.
5.2 Check original sources, dates, places, opening hours, prices, transportation, reservation requirements, copyright and other important conditions. Do not rely solely on Acoro for medical, health, legal, financial, investment, safety or child-protection decisions; seek qualified professional advice.
5.3 Responses about real-world conditions, procedures or specialist knowledge may rely on incomplete or outdated information. Verify the current situation before acting. Suggestions are not guarantees of truth, fitness or outcomes.
5.4 You are responsible under applicable law for using, editing, publishing or sharing AI outputs. Perform necessary human review and disclosure. Use the receiving platform’s AI-labeling tools where required, and do not maliciously remove, alter, forge or hide legally required AI-content labels.
5.5 Acoro displays “AI-generated, for reference only” near AI responses; the Chinese interface uses “AI 生成,仅供参考”. The notice remains during generation, in history and on public conversation pages. Copying a whole response with its copy button appends the notice; selecting and copying text copies only the selected text. A label identifies generated content and does not mean human verification or remove the need to check important information.
5.6 Your text, uploaded images, quoted originals and source materials are not automatically labeled AI-generated merely because Acoro displays them. Responses created from those materials carry the generation notice. Distinguish originals from generated responses using source information and retain applicable labels when redistributing.
6. Data and privacy
6.1 We process account details, current materials, saved sources, conversations, responses, feedback, sharing, suggestions, notification identifiers, logs and cache as described in the Acoro Privacy Policy.
6.2 Authentication, storage, parsing, AI, search, notifications, logging, security and verification messages may use third-party services. We apply contractual safeguards, access controls, minimized transfers and security review as required. Independently supplied third-party services are governed by their own terms.
6.3 Except as authorized, necessary to provide the service or required by law, we do not sell information to unrelated third parties or use private content for purposes unrelated to providing, improving and protecting Acoro. The Privacy Policy describes the applicable processing rules.
7. Intellectual property and user content
7.1 Acoro software, interfaces, trademarks, domains, documentation, data structures, orchestration and APIs belong to us or their lawful owners. Do not copy, modify, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or use them for unfair competition without permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
7.2 Rights in the links, text, images, files, screenshots, questions and other content you provide remain with you or the original rights holder. You must have a lawful basis to use the content and authorize its processing.
7.3 You grant a non-exclusive license limited to providing saving, parsing, indexing, retrieval, generation, synchronization, caching, copying and conversation sharing, including processing by contracted providers. This does not change ownership. It ends after content or account deletion subject to legal and backup-cleanup requirements.
7.4 By creating a public share, you authorize link holders to view the content displayed on that page. Revocation prevents later access through that link but cannot recall copies, screenshots or forwards previously obtained lawfully.
7.5 You may reasonably use generated output subject to law, third-party rights and provider terms. Output may resemble others’ content; originality, registrability, commercial suitability and non-infringement are not guaranteed.
8. Fees and service changes
8.1 The current version may offer free features or trials. If paid services are introduced, pricing, billing, duration, refunds and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase as required. These Terms alone do not authorize an automatic charge.
8.2 Networks, devices, app stores and external services may charge their own fees.
9. Availability and liability
9.1 We take reasonable steps for reliability and security, but maintenance, network failures, device compatibility, source restrictions, provider outages, model changes, events beyond our control or regulatory requirements may interrupt, delay or limit service.
9.2 External websites, content platforms, Apple, Google, Firebase, cloud providers and model providers are operated by their respective entities. We make no guarantee about third-party content, policies, availability or conduct beyond our obligations under applicable law.
9.3 To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by failure to verify AI output, unlawful use, public disclosure of sensitive content, changes in third-party content, or device or network conditions. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Breach and termination
10.1 Depending on the circumstances, violations may lead to warnings, restrictions, content removal, revocation of sharing, suspension, termination, preservation of necessary evidence, reporting to authorities or legal action.
10.2 You are responsible under applicable law for losses, claims or penalties caused by your conduct to us, affiliates, providers, rights holders or other users.
10.3 You may stop using the service and request account deletion. Provisions that by nature survive termination, including intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection, liability and dispute provisions, continue to apply.
11. Changes, governing law and disputes
11.1 We may update these Terms for legal, regulatory, security or product reasons. If you do not agree, stop using the service and you may request deletion. We obtain renewed agreement where law requires it.
11.2 The formation, performance, interpretation and resolution of disputes under these Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
11.3 We will first seek to resolve disputes through discussion. If unresolved, either party may bring proceedings before the competent court at the operator’s registered domicile.
12. Other provisions
12.1 These Terms, the Acoro Privacy Policy and other lawfully published rules applicable to the service form the agreement between you and us.
12.2 Invalid or unenforceable provisions do not affect the remainder. Failure or delay to exercise a right is not a waiver. Contact us using the email or telephone at the start of these Terms.
The Chinese and English versions are corresponding texts of the same regional agreement. Language selection does not change the region or agreement and translation differences must not deprive you of statutory rights. Contact us at the email above about any discrepancy.
